Malaysia Salary Increment Calculator
Compare a salary raise in Malaysia by amount or percentage. See the estimated change in take-home pay, PCB, EPF, SOCSO and EIS.
Calculator rules: YA 2025/2026
Salary increment comparator
Compare your current pay against a raise to see the real change in PCB, statutory deductions and net take-home pay.
How to compare a salary increase
- Enter your current monthly salary and fixed allowances.
- Choose a percentage raise or a monthly ringgit increase.
- Check your family profile and EPF rates.
- Compare current and new take-home pay. A gross raise also changes tax and employee contributions, so the increase reaching your bank account can be smaller.
Assumptions and estimate limits
The comparison assumes each salary applies uniformly for a full year. It excludes bonuses, additional reliefs and zakat, and uses approximate contribution amounts. A midyear raise may produce a different PCB deduction on your actual payslip.
Example: a RM500 monthly salary increase
Single resident, no children, allowances, bonus, additional reliefs or zakat. Employee EPF rate: 11%. Figures use the current calculator rules.
| Monthly salary | Estimated PCB | Estimated take-home |
|---|---|---|
| RM 5,000.00 | RM 110.00 | RM 4,305.35 |
| RM 5,500.00 | RM 152.50 | RM 4,704.35 |
Extra monthly take-home pay: RM 399.00
