About Us

Our Mission

We built this site to make Malaysian income tax easier to understand. Working out what you owe should not require a spreadsheet or an afternoon reading official schedules. Whether you are checking the PCB deduction on your first payslip or planning reliefs ahead of e-Filing, you should be able to get a reliable answer in a minute or two.

What We Do

This site provides a free, real-time Malaysian income tax calculator built on the latest LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri / Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia) progressive tax brackets for the Years of Assessment 2025 and 2026. It offers two modes:

  • Yearly assessment: a step-by-step wizard covering income, every major relief category, rebates and zakat, ending with a full breakdown of chargeable income, tax payable and your effective rate.
  • Monthly PCB / MTD: a salary calculator following the LHDN Computerised Calculation Method, including EPF, SOCSO and EIS statutory deductions and your net take-home pay.

Tax rules change every Budget, so our rate tables and relief limits are kept in a central configuration and updated when LHDN publishes changes. This includes the Budget 2026 updates, such as the expanded childcare relief and the reintroduced domestic tourism relief.

Privacy First

The calculator was designed so that your financial data never needs to be stored. Salary and relief inputs are processed in-memory for a single calculation and immediately discarded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Important Disclaimer

We are an independent educational tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LHDN or the Government of Malaysia. We check our figures against published LHDN rates and relief schedules, but this calculator should be used for estimation only. Individual circumstances vary. For official advice, consult a licensed tax agent approved under Section 153 of the Income Tax Act 1967, or verify your assessment through LHDN's MyTax e-Filing portal.

How This Site Is Funded

The site is currently free to use and carries no advertising. To keep the calculator free in future, we may introduce advertising, and some of our guides may include clearly labelled affiliate links to financial products such as insurance or broadband plans. If you sign up through an affiliate link we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Advertising and affiliate partners will never influence the tax figures our calculators produce.
