Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information this website ("we", "us") collects when you use our calculators and guides, what we don't collect, and how cookies, analytics and advertising work here. We handle personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), as amended in 2024.

We do not store, track or pass on the salary, income or relief figures you enter. They're sent over an encrypted connection to our calculation service, used for one calculation and discarded straight away. We keep no record of your income, reliefs, family details or results, so we couldn't retrieve them even if asked. You never need to give us your name, IC/MyKad number or tax reference number to use the calculators.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't build a profile of you and never sees the numbers you type into the calculators.

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps the site free. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites.
• Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners show you ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at www.aboutads.info.
• You can read how Google uses data from sites like ours at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Ads are always labelled "Advertisement" and are kept away from calculator buttons.

If you message us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We don't add you to any mailing list and we don't share your message with anyone else.

Some guides may in future contain affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links will always be labelled and never influence our calculations or guides.

Links to other websites take you to sites with their own privacy policies. We're not responsible for how they handle your data.

All traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Because we don't keep your calculator inputs, there's no stored financial data that could be leaked or sold.

This is a general-audience site and isn't aimed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.

We'll update this page if anything changes, for example if we add a new advertising partner. The date at the top always shows the current version.
